WHAT WILL BECOME OF THY LOVING CARE:
To love with thy spirit,
To love with thy heart,
Shall I always love you,
The question to part.
But what will become,
Of thy loving care,
When time has ceased,
And days are bare.
Tenderly, softly,
Shall we take our stand,
To walk forth each day,
Hand in hand.
But what will come,
As the days move on,
As we strive forward,
Challenging the wrong.
When we meet our day,
In which we are judged,
And as the wind,
One of us is swept away.
Grief nor sorrow,
Shall enter thy heart,
But do bare in mind,
Memories do not part.
