GIFTS OF THE TREES:

I'am a tree and I'm here for thee,
I cost no money, I charge no fee,
In this tale, I tell you about me,
So listen now, the knowledge is free,

As apart of nature, God put me here,
All over the earth I do appear.
I have my living gifts I volunteer,
From the sizzling sun, I give you shade.

And in my arms, eggs of birds are laid.
And shelter from storms, I knidly give aid,
My blossoms nector the bees find sweet.
And in my tender trunk, bears find a treat.

The morning sun my raised arms greet.
Now my use to man makes me complete,
My strong wood is used for building.
And my seedlings are ever reforesting.

Next time you happen upon a forest,
Look around you and feel the greatly blest.
Whisper thanks to all the trees as you rest,
Believe me you'll make use the happiest!
